Prior to the visit by Our Blessed Mother at the Cova.....We were visited by an Angel who prepared us for Her visit.....he said ..... "Do not be afraid ..... I am the Angel of Peace..... Pray with me".....He knelt ..... bending his forehead to the ground ..... With a supernatural impulse we did the same ..... repeating the words we heard him say .....My God ..... I believe ..... I adore ..... I hope ..... and I love You ..... I ask pardon for those who do not believe ..... do not adore ..... do not hope ..... and do not love You ..... After repeating this prayer three times the angel rose and said to us ..... "Pray in this way. The hearts of Jesus and Mary are ready to listen to you." ..... The Angel then disappeared .....

ABOUT US

“Father, to you I offer praise; for what you have kept hidden from the learned and the clever you have revealed to the merest children” (Mt 11:25).

Fatima’s Children of the Eucharist - Consolers of the Hidden Jesus, under the patronage of Blessed Francisco, the Little Shepherd of Fatima, is the National Children and Youth Program of the World Apostolate of Fatima, USA. It is a Public International Association of the Faithful, under the Pontifical Council for Laity, which has been given the mission of guarding the purity of the message of Fatima and propagating it to all corners of the earth, together with the Gospel, the teachings of the Holy Faith, and encouraging personal sanctification by adherence to the message of Fatima.

Fatima’s Children of the Eucharist is a response to Our Lady’s requests in Fatima, for all the children of the world and their families. We promote three programs: The Annual Worldwide Children’s Holy Hour, the School of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, and Children’s Eucharistic Adoration.

The Annual Worldwide Children’s Holy Hour

  • Gather the Children of the World,
  • Before the Tabernacles of the World,
  • For the Families of the World!

The mission of the Annual "Worldwide Children’s Holy Hour” is to gather the schoolchildren and all the children of the world before the Most Blessed Sacrament in their own diocesean cathedrals, parish churches and chapels, on the First Friday of October each year to console the Eucharistic Heart of Jesus. The children pray the prayers the “Angel of Peace” taught the Little Shepherds of Fatima. While praying the World Mission Rosary inspired by Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen, with its five different colored decades representing the Five Continents of the world, the children will be praying with Our Lady for their own families, for all the families of the world, and for peace in the world.

Pope Benedict XV asked the children of Rome to pray to God for an end to World War I, telling them that "the prayers of children are irresistible". Just days later, Our Lady appeared in Fatima to three little shepherd children to say that "Soon the War will end." Pope John Paul II placed the Crisis of the Family in our time, in the hands of the prayers of children. And this year we have received the Apostolic Blessing from Pope Benedict XVI for all those who participate in any way in the Worldwide Children's Holy Hour.

The School of the Immaculate Heart of Mary

The School of the Immaculate Heart of Mary is the school of the saints. At Fatima, Our Lady said: “God wishes to establish devotion to my Immaculate Heart in the world … it is by this means He wishes to save it.”

In this School, children and their families, if they wish to enroll, are spiritually formed, through their devotional life to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. It is a Universal Call by Our Blessed Mother to the children of the world, no different than Her call to the three Little Shepherds of Fatima, asking them to:

  • Adore and console Jesus in the Most Blessed Sacrament
  • Pray the Rosary
  • Pray the Morning Offering – Offering the joys and sufferings of their day to Jesus through Mary
  • Entrust themselves to the Immaculate Heart of Mary
  • Observe the 5 First Saturdays Devotion

Children’s Eucharistic Adoration

Another fruit of the Annual Worldwide Children’s Holy Hour is promotion of Children’s Eucharistic Adoration in our parishes, schools, and families. Clergy, parents, and teachers are encouraged to frequently gather the children before Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament in prayerful adoration, as they are encouraged to follow the way of the little shepherd, Blessed Francisco, who loved to console the “Hidden Jesus” in the Tabernacle of his own parish church. Other than Holy Hours, children can be brought before Our Lord for Holy Visits of shorter amounts of time. They come to learn to live their lives with Jesus, stopping frequently to console Him, to tell Him about their own experiences, to pray for the intentions of their own families and the families of the world, and to pray for peace in the world. If we teach our children the Eucharistic prayers to console Jesus, as the Angel of Peace taught the three Little Shepherds, this prayerful adoration will transform them into little saints, in the same way it did for the Little Shepherds of Fatima.

At the beatification of Blessed Francisco and Blessed Jacinta, Pope John Paul II made two suggestions to the children who were present, “Dear boys and girls … Our Lady needs all of you to console Jesus, who is sad because of all the sin in the world; He needs your prayers and your sacrifices for sinners …” He also said, “Ask your parents and teachers to enroll you in the School of Our Lady so that she can teach you to be like the Little Shepherds, who tried to do whatever She asked them.”

Through these programs, as we unite the prayers of millions of children throughout the world, and they begin to echo the prayer, “My God, I believe, I adore, I hope and I love you, and I beg pardon for those who do not believe, do not adore, do not hope and do not love you,” Jesus will be consoled. He will hear their prayers of reparation and see their little sacrifices done out of great love. As this gentle roar of love is heard in heaven, the world will begin to witness a deep conversion in its families. Our children, through their sacrifices and prayers of adoration before Our Lord, will thus help us initiate the long awaited:
