For Worldwide Holy Hour

• Teach the children the ‘Theme Song’ “We are the children of the world, Answering His Call”
  
• The sign language of the song will be on-line soon.
  
• Invite the Knights of Columbus Color Guard
  
• Colorful flags and costumes as the children represent different nations of the world.

• Process an image of Our Blessed Mother including a solemn crowning.
  
• A short essay contest on the Blessed Mother’s Rosary. Winner will crown the image of Our Lady.

• A ceremony lighting the Holy Spirit candle – this unites the children of the world.
  
• Ask the pastor or deacon to have question and answer time with the children on the subject of the Holy Eucharist and Most Holy Rosary. This gives a teaching opportunity for the children to hear one another’s questions.

Parishes
Evening Family Holy Hour

• Invite the children of the DRE program to come with their families to the parish and unite in prayer before the Most Blessed Sacrament.
  
• Because the Worldwide Children’s Holy Hour will be broadcast at 10:00 AM EST your parish could set up a large screen in the evening and follow along with the morning program.
  
• If you prefer your own Holy Hour program please include the four devotions to establish World wide unity.
  - Gather the children before the Most Blessed Sacrament
  - Pray the Eucharistic Prayers of the Angel of Peace
  - Pray the Entrustment Prayer to the Immaculate Heart of Mary
  - Pray the World Mission Rosary for the families of the world
  

Simple Formation

• Teach the children to pray the Rosary
  
• Discuss the Mysteries of the Rosary
  
• Practice the prayers which will be prayed during the Worldwide Holy Hour
